京都市では、京都の魅力発信、新たな交流拠点の創出等のため、メタバース「京都館PLUS X」を運営しています。

空間内では、京都の観光やイベント情報のほか、伝統産業等の伝統文化、ふるさと納税、移住に関する情報などを発信中。

さらに、ユーザーが交流する場づくりとして、観光セミナーなどのイベントも定期的に実施しています。

この度、令和８年３月３１日の実証期間終了に伴い、メタバース「京都館　PLUS　X」の運用を終了します。
開設以降、ご利用いただきました皆様に感謝を申し上げます。

The Kyoto-kan PLUS X metaverse operated by Kyoto City is a new platform for exchange that promotes Kyoto's great appeal – now also available in English.

In addition to tourism and events in Kyoto, the metaverse provides information on traditional industries and culture, the Furusato Nozei "hometown tax" system and matters related to immigration.

Events including sightseeing seminars are also held regularly, creating a space where users can interact and exchange information.
